Campsite
Camping International is located in the beautiful Italian town of Porlezza on the northern shore of Lake Lugano.
The campsite has its own beach with shallow access. Showers are also available. There is also a small harbor for small boats and a beach bar in the summer months.
A large playground for children and a sports field are located directly at the entrance to the campsite.
An absolute highlight is the swimming pool, which offers plenty of space and has numerous water attractions including slides. Admission is free for our guests.
The "Il Pinguino" restaurant offers excellent Italian cuisine at fair prices. There is live music on Saturdays in the bar next door.
A supermarket for everyday needs is located directly on the campsite. There is also a large Carrefour market within walking distance (10 minutes).
Surroundings
Porlezza has about 5000 inhabitants and has a beautiful promenade and numerous restaurants, cafes and shops. The area is ideal for biking, hiking, water sports, etc.
Porlezza is pretty much halfway between Lake Como and Lake Maggiore.
Menaggio on Lake Como is about 15 minutes by car, Como is 45 kilometers away. It is also only approx. 45 kilometers to Lago Maggiore in Luino and Lugano in Switzerland is practically on the doorstep and can also be reached directly via a ferry connection.
